These things will hit you from across the system, and the worst part is that even though your ships can't come close to hitting these things from that range, they still count as being "In Combat" since it is engaging them, so they move at their agonizingly slow "Combat Speed". The biggest advantage that these Leviathan's have is definitely not their crazy HP or Armor, its their RANGE. Then this same fleet went after the Stellarite Devourer and got stomped hard. I took down the Horror with ~24K, just my standard Fleets which were kinda Plasma Heavy at the time. Don't even think of taking it on with a less than 30K fleet, even specialized for it. It has no shields, you'll also wish to consider that and try and chew through that beast faster than it can dissolve your fleet, because you're going to lose a big chunk of it. You're going to wish to consider having it waste all that DPS on lighter targets, but you'd better have a lot of those. In addition to that, it has a couple more long-range guns that can deal up to another 2.5K each. Its main weapon has nearly twice the range of lances and can hit for up to 5K damage in normal mode. The Dimensional Horror is a monster, plain and simple. A 30k fleet of that will mince the Drake down and get off lightly. You're better off taking it on with battleships equipped with their own lances and packing decent shields/shield gen. It uses its own specific variant of energy lance, heavy mid-range damage and has its own point defenses (4).
